Visiting or living near Los Angeles and want to take your furry baby on a little adventure?
One of the best dog parks located in Los Angles, CA is Lake Hollywood Park:
Not only does your favorite companion has the pleasure of running around with other furry friends on actual grass without a leash, but you also get one of the best views of the Hollywood sign.
Don’t forget to pack you camera along with lots of water and doggy bags. Be sure to have your pup on a leash at first because it may be a little bit of a hike up hill to reach the park due to limited street parking depending on the time you go. Street parking is also free which is a very nice perk and you get a little bit of good exercise!
One of the best dog beaches near Los Angeles is Rosie’s Dog Beach located in Long Beach, CA:
Unfortunately, there isn’t very many dog beaches near or in Los Angeles, I was very excited to find this gem! This beach is so much fun for you and your pup to run and splash around! Be sure to pack lots of water for your and your pup, some towels and doggy bags, oh and quarters. This beach also has very cheap meter parking, 70 cents per hour all day (quarters only) until 8pm or free street parking and decent restrooms nearby. There’s dog running around everywhere, so if your buddy isn’t the most friendly, it would be best to keep them on a leash. Also, be sure to stick around to see the most beautiful sunset. Long Beach is a gorgeous spot to hang around too, many cute shops to walk to, it’s very clean, not much traffic and great low key restaurants.
